NEW RELEASE FOR LINE KRUSE (JAZZ) WITH STUNT RECORDS

At the recent Midem Trade Show, Taklit finalized a co-publishing and production/distribution deal for a world-wide release of Line Kruse's 2nd album Dream,  under the Stunt Records Label in Denmark.

The new jazz album by Line Kruse is scheduled for release in Denmark, Sweden and Norway in June and expected to be released this autumn in France.

With Nicola Andrioli, Edsel Gomez (piano) Gildas Boclé, Ira Coleman, Fabrizio Fenoglietto (contrabass) Laurent Robin, Minino Garay, Francis Arnaud (drums), Paolo Russo (bandoneon), Jean-Pierre Smadja (programming and oud).

NEW COMPOSERS & A NEW LABEL FOR THE INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION

Taklit has signed three new artists to its publishing catalogue. The style, color and feel of their music is an extraordinary complement to Taklit's own musical catalogue and particularly well adapted to cinematographic use.

Two new ensembles join Taklit's special collection Made In Brazil.

Danilo Penteado & Quatro A Zero (Brazil) Music that reveals a sophisticated use of contemporary improvisation and the unexpected sound of piano, electric guitar, electric bass and drums to replace the traditional regional sound of guitars, cavaco, pandeiro, and flute or mandoline found in Choro. Modern, precise and the required dose of humor. Played by the fun and eclectic Quatro A Zero.

Maria Beraldo & Fina Estampa (Brazil) Aesthetically rich in instrumentation (clarinet, clarone, tenor sax, 7 string guitar, electric bass, mandolin, small guitar, drums and percussion) this music features original works by the group's members including Maria Beraldo, Danilo Penteado, Jayme Vignoli, Itiberê Zwarg and Mauricio Carrilho - an important figure in contemporary Choro.

The International Connection represents a number of labels outside of Taklit's private collection of published works, particularly well adapted for broadcast use. These catalogues are administered by Taklit.

Levente Egry (Hungary) Music from the Artophonic Chamber Orchestra. Levente Egry’s project, Sentimental Piano Concert is a musical tribute to the European heritage of classical music and the reinterpretation of musical Romanticism.

PennyBank Tunes The brainchild of our great friend and colleague - American producer Helen Bank, Pennybank Tunes is the hot newcomer to France's Production Music industry.

KIDS' FACTORY MUSIC Volume 3 of - Je donne ma langue au chant ! 22 May, 2009

Who stole the alphabet? why can't kids go to bed, what keeps little birds busy in the trees, how does it feels to be a kid, what's going on in San Francisco?

Those are just a few of the issues raised in this very theatrical rendition of Je Donne Ma Langue au Chant! 

The answers to those questions will be available May 11th when Kids' Factory Music and L'Autre Distribution release Volume 3 in France.

LIAT COHEN: A NEW RELEASE BY WARNER CLASSICS "CONCERTOS"

Taklit is proud to associate its work with guitarist Liat Cohen whose initiative of commissioning new pieces from composers around the world exposes and perpetuates rare and unique musical cultures through the creation of new works for the guitar.

Concertos with Liat and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, was released in February 2009 by Warner Classics/Lontano Record.

Her recent performances highlight new projects that reveal not only fine musicianship but a wealth of new interpretations and a myriad of new works to discover.

This new partnership which offers extraordinary visibility for Taklit internationally, will focus on exploiting our Kids' Factory label and vocal tracks by Luiz de Aquino.

Taklit is pleased to announce the availability of 35 Doigts Variés pour sept mains de sept petits pianistes sur un piano. by composer Laurent Grynszpan.

A lovely piece that encourages ensemble playing whether that be together around one piano or with an instrumental ensemble.

PUBLISHING: NEW SCORES NOW AVAILABLE

Orchestral scores for the French musical A la Recherche des Etoiles (Searching for Stars) by Laurent Grynszpan are now available. Based on a true story, the work is an hommage to children who face violence with courage.

Upcoming performances are scheduled in France with young people from the Collège Louis Pasteur (Gach) and Collège Jean Jaurès (Graulhet), and students from the Graulhet conservatory, under the direction of Mme Mylène Arbus.
